The Neighsayers - The Week Ahead Week 28

Quinny has taken the reigns this week’s the week ahead. Plenty of horses to go at this week. Lewis should be back next week. Good luck all.

 Tuesday

2:45 Musselburgh - Music History

Caught eye on debut, showed loads of speed but bombed out 2nd time out. Quiet run the last day when never knocked about, I can see a mark of 64 looking more than workable going into nursery’s.

Thursday

2:10 Sandown - Spring Bloom

Much better run the last day at Newmarket, dropped 2lb for it also what’s a bonus. Finds him self 12&14lb lower than C&D placed efforts last year. Should go well providing he gets a clear run

Double entered - Samoon Star

Won really well on handicap debut, value for the winning distance. Should be a progressive type and can win again here. 1m2 looks fine for her and she can take the steps up in class in her stride

6:50 Leopardstown - Surpass

Have been really impressed with him in two starts to date. Showed he is versatile tactics wise LTO and has a nice turn of foot. I’d say he could be 105+ in time and he should go close here

7:00 Yarmouth - Farh Too Shy

Have to put a deplorable run at Royal Ascot behind here but I feel she has been prepped with this in mind. Won the race last year and providing she is produced late, should be going close. Tough race mind so small fancy

Friday

1:50 Ascot - Raveena

Showed speed but was ultimately too green to do her self justice on debut. Ascot maidens are normally tough but I feel she will be overlooked in this. Small bet

2:35 Thirsk - Ettorino

Learning on the job in 3 runs to date. Has ran in pretty hot races and should be much better than a mark of 59. Looks a weak nursery on first look.

7:50 York - Ejaabiyah

Terrible listed race, I have her down as Group class and if showing her best she will eat these.
