The Neighsayers - Day 4 Preview

 2:30

LQ: Looks wide open this and I think California Dreamer has every chance of turning around the form LTO with the fav. She got to the front plenty soon and rather idled, was only headed late. I can imagine she will be ridden with a tad more restraint and I can see her being good enough to get involved here. 25/1 a more than fair price.

LD: I’m with Quinny here. California Dreamer has a much better chance than market suggests. Not going mad though, signs of a draw bias sneaking in yesterday late on.

3:05

LQ: Not desperate to bet here but Jasour did impress me in his prep run, quickened up very nicely and more importantly settled much better in the rear. He’s the most likely winner for me.

LD: Inisherin is the best horse in here for me, however I’m not sure Ascot is his track… much likelier to win at Newmarket and namely the July Cup, bit of 10/1 but general 8/1. Watching brief.

3:45

LQ: Not sure what to take the favourite on here with, may just lay the fav as i think she is a very short price for this.

LD: Also not really keen on Opera Singer. I’ll play Elmalka E/W here, she did incredibly well to win the Guineas on her 3rd start. No reason she’s stopped improving there. 13/2 more than fair.

4:25

LQ: No opinion.

LD: Sheer Rocks worth a small £2.50 ew or something like that, improved plenty last year and has won fresh. Apart from that, nothing.

5:05

LQ: Think Indelible will take plenty of beating here. The way she won LTO under a penalty was very impressive and she looked like a potential group horse that day. I’d say she has plenty of weight to play with here.

LD: Setting my self up to be outside Shoezone tonight but I’ll be betting 3 in here. Agree with everything that Quinny has said about the fav, 91 is a gift win or lose today. She’ll win plenty. Kitty’s Rose brands the colours of her new Australian connections and I can see why they’ve bought her, for got the form in the book after just 4 runs at a higher level than this. Another group horse in a handicap. Finally, Nocturnal this has been her plan since before her last start at Wolves, race fell apart after the non runner but she won as she liked and can go on.

5:40

LQ: Pretty hot race for a G2, can see Space Legend going off fav after his luckless run the last day. I have liked what I’ve seen from Theory of tides so far and could see him go well at a double Figure price also.

LD: A nod for Space Legend from me also, love him as a type. Proper group animal. Each way play also on Macduff, still doubts about the trip after an Epsom no show but can forgive anyone at Epsom.

6:15

LQ: Very competitive race so playing small. I’ve covered Mon Na Slieve small, think there is abit of room in his mark after being testing in much better company. 40s looks okay. Jubilee Walk was very impressive LTO and could be the proverbial ‘Group horse in a handicap’

LD: Could back all of these if you let me. Shagraan my one and only arrow though. Unlucky over 5 at Sandown and then didn’t see out 6 at Newmarket. Agree with Quinny about Jubilee Walk.
