The Neighsayers - Saturday 20th January
12:15 Lingfield - 7F Handicap
Competitive stuff to start the day off, but eagle eyed readers of the Weekly Eye-Catchers will have known the bet in here for us is the Stuart Williams trained REVOLUTIONISE. We flagged him up for this race on the 9th December for this race specifically, after a very good run on this card last year behind the very progressive All The Kings Men. He’s ran good races in defeat recently, only being beaten less than 4l in all runs this season. Also highlighted in the Eye-catchers, we have been waiting for Jason Hart to back on this one, and today is the day he jumps back on for the first time since his 2nd on this card last year. Jason has rode him 7 times, winning 4 and placing in 2, he is the man for the job! Would expect the strong travelling grey to move into the race really well from Mid div, and hopefully putting the race to bed in the final furlong. in terms of the price, 6/1 ish is about right, but after following the horses progress over the last year, the owners do bet late, after normally a bet driven drift throughout the day, so you may see a bigger price come tomorrow morning. Mark up if money comes for him in the show. Hopefully another long term plot landed for the Eye-Catchers! Best of luck.
Selection - Revolutionise (6/1 Bet365, William Hill, Coral, Ladbrokes)
12.50 Lingfield - 6F Handicap
My naps comes in the 2nd race at Lingfield and is the Tom Clover Trained Photosynthesis. This horse was last seen coming a very fair 3rd in what I believe to be a warm novice at Newcastle.
The 2 in front of Photosynthesis that day have both scored at short odds since and could have a bit up his sleeve off 80.
Selection - Photosynthesis (7/2 Betfair, Paddy, Hills, 100/30 Bet365 and 3/1 General)
