The Neighsayers - Cheltenham Challenge
Morning all, apologies for the delay and this not going out last night, but that just means you're being treated to a double blog Thursday, with floodlit Friday going out tonight. Here's this weeks Cheltenham Challenge.

This week, I’m looking to put a horse up towards the top of the market, that I think still represents some value. My selection comes in the champion bumper, and is the Gordon Elliot Trained Jalon D’oudairies.
I was impressed by the horses front running tactics is testing conditions at Leopardstown, beating the highly regarded Willie Mullins trained Redemption Day by 2 3/4 lengths, midfield in last years champion bumper before a 2nd to Facile Vega at the Punchestown festival.
The bumper division has looked pretty weak this year compared to recent times, and nothing has come out and significantly caught the eye. Jalon showed plenty of talent in his run and I think massive improvement can come from that, and I think the 6/1 on offer is a great price. I would usually favour a Mullins horse in this race, but nothing from the Yard has impressed me as much as Jalon D’ourdairies as of yet, and we’re getting pretty close to the festival to see anything significant now.
Selection - Jalon D’oudairies (6/1 General)

My fifth selection for the challenge brings my first handicap bet, Gavin Cromwell’s My mate Mozzie for the Grand Annual. Was given an entry at Lingfield this week purely to test the water with the UK handicapper and was given a very fair mark in my opinion of 146.
He came over to Cheltenham in October and won a 2m novice chase as he liked before running probably a career best at Leopardstown on Boxing Day.
Cromwell has said today “ With the mark he has, the Grand Annual is a big option for him, but we'll see. He goes well fresh so I don't think he'll run again between now and Cheltenham.” From these comments I’d be fairly certain he goes straight to the Grand Annual.
I think he’s going to shorten a fair bit before the festival, the current 10/1 available could be more 7/2 4/1 come the off so my advice would be to back him now.
My mate Mozzie - Grand Annual (10/1 Sky bet 8/1 General)

Currently on Sick leave, will update when he's fit and ready.
