The Neighsayers - Weekly Eye-catchers 4th-10th December 2023
Weekly Eye-Catcher’s 4th – 10th December 2023
4th December – 6:00 Wolverhampton
Pierrefonds
Slowly away, tanked out the back in look for a mark. May need another 2 more runs for a mark but I can see this being a big improver when going into handicaps and when stepping up in trip. Not missed by the stewards unfortunately.
6th December – 5:30 Kempton
Sardinian Warrior
Massive Eye-Catcher here and won’t be missed by the public. Slowly away, held up miles off the pace, asked for effort but had loads to do from position. Ran on very strongly, picked up past horses very easily and ran on very strongly for 2nd. Huge run and a maiden should be a formality nto.
7th December – 7:00 Chelmsford
H Key Lails
Unlucky in the run here. Drop un trip looked to suit, tanked through the race, had to wait for gaps in the straight and had the door shut on him twice when making a run. Should have been going close here if not winning if having a better run. Should be going close nto 7f or Easy 8f.
7th December - 7:30 Chelmsford
Split Elevens
Another unlucky one in the run. Probably should have won this today. Held up last, smooth headway, ridden with confidence but gaps didn’t appear, finished under hands and heels. Dropped to an attractive mark now and he should be winning very soon if in the same mood.
9th December – 6:00 Wolverhampton
Revolutionise
Showed he retains ability shown last year. Slow away, in rear travelled well, miles back and was never nearer when doing best work late. Landed huge touch over C&D last season, will look to back when the money is down, maybe when Jason Hart is booked. Will need a few lb back from the handicapper to get in, but id defiantly keep him in the notebook for the 7f 59-78 at Lingfield on the 20th January.
10th December – 4:50 Wolverhampton
Water Of Leith
No write up needed………
