The Neighsayers - 3 for Friday.
Thanks for the outstanding support this week, the numbers have been phenomenal and the results haven’t been to bad neither. Here’s 3 for Friday given to you by @lukeblack85
13:50 Gushing Gold 11/1 EW
Gushing Gold has been a relatively slow burner since her promising debut 2nd at Leicester in May. Her run at Royal Ascot subsequently confirmed her earlier spark of talent however finishing a very respectable 9th of 17 in the Queen Mary. Despite then being narrowly beaten in 2 Novice events at Newbury and Kempton, She finally shed her Maiden tag in a Nursery at York. This form stacks up seriously well, with the 2nd Lexington Belle sluicing up next time out, the 3rd Inishfallen being a gallant 2nd in a Group 3, the 4th Dark Encounter also winning on his next start and the 5th Soldier’s Gold running a huge race to come 4th in the valuable sales race yesterday. I was mightily impressed with how generous she was under pressure at York, running through the line and winning, in my opinion, much more snuggly than the neck margin suggested. She comes in here against some exciting unexposed types and while the likely ground is somewhat of an unknown, I’m hoping she can put her prominent racing style and experience to good use to at least hit the frame.
14:25 - Big Evs 3/1 Win
Big Evs developed into one of the leading forces in the 2 year old Sprint Division following his debut defeat at Redcar. A commanding victory in the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot followed by a game victory in the Group 2 Molecombe Stakes at Glorious Goodwood marked him down as a precocious and exciting talent for the Mick Appleby team. Looking to make hay while the Sun shines, he was pitched into open Group 1 company taking his chance in The Nunthorpe where he was as short as 5/1 at the off. Despite a disappointing performance on The Knavesmire, weakening to finish a well beaten 14th of 16, this may have just been too much too soon for the Juvenile up against some battle hardened and experienced counterparts. Despite the improvement of Inquisitively since the 2 met at the Royal Meeting in June, I think Big Evs will uphold the form and bounce back from his anti climatic display last time out. His other market rival Kylian has arguably been disappointing since his destructive Sandown success finishing behind Big Evs at Goodwood and finding trouble a plenty when well beaten at York subsequently. Beyond these 3 I think there is very little strength in depth to this contest and at odds of 7/2 currently available Big Evs is a hugely confident selection to the land the spoils in this Group 2 contest.
16:45 - Rhythm Master 14/1 EW
Rhythm Master showed signs of sparking back into life last time out at Ascot. Despite being well beaten in Midfield, he travelled through the contest with plenty of zest indicating to me that a return to form could be imminent. His penultimate run at Royal Ascot can be easily forgiven, lining up as a 40/1 outsider off of a 3 month break in possibly the most competitive 7f handicap of the year. He is absolutely tailor made for this 6 and half furlong trip, has listed form in the book on soft ground and is back down to his last winning mark of a 100. James Horton’s charge ticks plenty of boxes for me and looks an outstanding EW bet.
Good luck if you’re following and with any personal bets too. We hope to continue the solid form.
